What is Time Delay?

Time delay is a feature to deter burglary.

Provided a prospective burglar has knowledge that a Time Delay safe is in use, the likelihood of a burglary is greatly reduced.

The Time Delay setting requires the user to enter his/her code, wait a prescribed period of time, then re-enter a valid code to unlock the safe lock.

Would-be thieves who are in a rush to make a quick exit will often leave empty handed when confronted with a time delay safe during a burglary attempt.
