If you are looking for something a bit bigger than the normal small business – home office safe, you should consider the Bobcat 400. It has close to 40 litres of internal space which is 30% bigger than our own Ocelot 300.
We construct all our safes using 4mm & 8mm steel with a 16mm internal layer of gypsum. This gives a full 30-minute fire protection for your valuables. We also include a fireproof and heat resistant pouch to protect Australian polymer banknotes from melting.
The internal dimensions are 350mm x 450mm x 250mm. This is big enough to store A4 reports, Apple iPads or Microsoft Surface tablets. A single adjustable internal shelf can be positioned to suit your specific requirements.
The Bobcat 400 is fitted with a highly secure SecuRam L02 digital lock. It has been designed for commercial and high-end domestic applications. The SecuRam L02 is the lock of choice for small business safes.
With up to 30 assignable user codes, either 8 or 6 digit, dual or single access control and variable time delay, this lock is ideal for multiuser business environments. Download the quick start guide here.
Before you buy, it is important that you consider how big and heavy your new Bobcat 400 safe will be, and where you are going to install it in your home or office.
Why do we store Coke in our safes?
We use Coca Cola cans in our photos so that you can gauge exactly how big the Bobcat 400 is and whether it is big enough for your needs. The Bobcat 400 offers over 39 litres of internal usable space which is 30% bigger than the Ocelot 350.
It comes complete with one adjustable and removeable shelf. We use a fine adjustment shelf system that allows 12mm increments so that you can set your shelf level to suit your contents to maximise space utilization.
Use the images below to determine the space that you will need for the Bobcat 400.
Important Note:
If you intend to put your Bobcat 400 in a cupboard to conceal it, you will need to allow an additional 60mm to take account of the lock and handle. So, you will need to allow a total depth of 400mm.
The Bobcat 400 weighs in at 50 Kg and has two holes in the base so you can bolt it down securely.
